Acura Interior Lights Wont Turn Off

The MDX has soft interior light switches. We have checked the switch for all lights and it works correctly all the interior lights stay on for a brief period when the doors are opened and then closed.

Well there are settings to turn off the headlights and interior lights after a certain period of time after the vehicle is turned off but they dont override an interior light being turned to the on position. Discussion Starter 1 Jul 20 2006 Edited About a month ago I got into my 2001 odyssey to head to work and as I shut the door I noticed the interior lights were all on. Move the dome light switch to the OFF position. Off then back on rest all switches to off.

8 people found this helpful. Or see if your light switch has been put in the always on position for the interior lights. In the door activated position the interior lights fade out and go off about 30 seconds after the doors are closed.
